We were referred to Cory by another well respected professional.  We were told that he was one of the top realtors in our area. While working with Cory, we observed many of the characteristics that no doubt contributed to his high profile reputation and success. In addition to being a savvy realtor, he is personable, he listens to the needs of his clients and shows genuine concern. Selling our home after 22 years of living and loving our home was a very big deal to us and quite an emotional journey. Cory took that journey with us. For Cory, this also meant making sure the house was displayed at its very best and that everything was in top working condition. It turns out that Cory has considerable talents in home staging. Here, I thought since I was an HGTV aficionado that I wouldn't need any help in that area. Cory's advice was invaluable.  Cory also brought in a highly skilled professional for the video shoot and to create color brochures showcasing our home's best features. The house looked so beautiful in the video and brochures that my husband and I looked at each other and said, "Wow. Is that really our home?"

We also appreciated Cory's willingness to share his knowledge of the industry. He  provided frequent updates about comparable homes in our community. It alleviated some of our anxiety just knowing where the competition stood. Which gets me the the characteristic we most admired about Cory Marks. He provided the expertise so we could make sound decisions but allowed us to make those decisions in our own time.  Cory Marks is that kind of person, that kind of professional. During the past three to four months, I have met and gotten to know Cory Marks quite well. I can attest to the fact that he has been one of the most, if not the most, professional, responsible, insightful, helpful and courteous realtors that I have ever dealt with.

 

Just over four months ago, my brothers and I inherited my mother's house. The house was in need of some repair and maintenance before it was even ready to be placed on the market. After interviewing several local realtors and ultimately requesting that Cory be the person to work with us, he jumped in with unrivaled enthusiasm and optimism along with an unparalleled work ethic. Besides his professional demeanor and seemingly extensive knowledge of real estate and the local towns, Cory outlined very specific marketing plans. Without being asked, Cory offered very early on to meet workmen at the house, review things with them, etc. There were also several times that he solicited and scheduled the vendors himself, while always first contacting me for approval.

 

Within a week of placing the house on the market, Cory brought in an excellent offer from a very nice couple. We just had the closing with them last week (approx. 2 1/2 to 3 months start to finish).

 

Without any doubt or hesitation at all, I very enthusiastically recommend Cory as the realtor of choice when having a home to buy or sell.
